The Kenya Help Crusade

Wings shares the story of a retired math teacher, Margo McAuliffe, and a group of Northern California girls and mothers, led by Rebecca Bloom. With inspiration and action, these “Kenya Help Girls,” ages 7 – 14, have raised over $35,000 since 2006. The Kenya Help mission: improve the future of girls in Kenya by providing education and support.

Wings has interviewed both remarkable women. Let their stories move you, then share your own experiences of creativity, compassion, and leadership. The sharing is a form of mentoring, a crucial gift we give each other to perpetuate positive change. Because of people like Margo and Rebecca, women helping women, girls helping girls, we will see significant economic and social change in our lifetimes.

A Window Between Worlds

Our Mission: A Window Between Worlds is a non-profit organization dedicated to using art to help end domestic violence. Through creative expression, battered women and children recover a sense of renewal and power. Their images of hope, survival and strength educate the public and become "a window between worlds" for survivors taking steps to change their lives.
