Research Overview

The purpose of our first study is to gather critical information from leaders, both female and male, on how outstanding women create their professional lives, how they were mentored and how they are giving back to themselves, community and others.

The survey will be invaluable to A Woman with Wings' ongoing efforts to educate and encourage women, (and men, for the Feminine resides in all of us,) to soar with confidence...to know that what they dream and long for is not so outrageous or unattainable. To know that they can "have it all" according to their own definitions, without the loss of Self and the things they hold so dear.

We have been working with noted research consultant, Jim Attlesey, and consumer research firm, The Hartman Group, on developing a study that will be in the field beginning October 2007. We are also conducting personal interviews with leaders in order to give a complete, human picture of who these women are.

Our research goals over time include developing information by industry and creating a syndicated resource that offers demographic and psychographic data on women in leadership roles.
